i can sometimes and sometimes i can not
Screen Shot 2014-06-26 at 1.54.23 pm.pngshe needs some practises
I can use my skills to play games like ‘just juice’ and ‘lobster tennis’.
Screen Shot 2014-06-26 at 1.54.23 pm.png sometimes my buddy can not get the ball
Screen Shot 2014-06-26 at 1.54.23 pm.pngshe needs to triy and sqosh the ball

Grasshopper tennis has been great fun and I have loved seeing you get involved and trying your best. You are right, it is hard to control your racket and make that ball go where you want it to! You have developed your skills and can hit the ball over the net and enjoy playing 'tennis' games. You don't have to win lots of points to have a great time!

Haiku Deck

WALT: summarise what we read

Success Criteria:
Find the key words
Record the main ideas
Retell what we have read

What have you learned? (What)
what are key words and what they are
Why is it important? (So what)
so i can understand my reading
How are you going to use what you have learned? (Now what?)
to show what i have learnd so people know what i am doing in it
What is your next learning step (Now what?)
to look everywhere not just the main part so i can know more things

You are learning to summarise what you read by finding the main ideas and the key words. Remember to include all the main ideas so your summary is about the entire story. You are able to retell what you read, and have found the current affairs what, when, where questions helpful. We love to hear your ideas in class Grace so remember to use that 'big' voice.

integrity

WALT: demonstrate integrity (The value for term 3 is: Integrity)
Task: We are going to create an i-movie.
ü We need to show an example of Integrity
ü Explain the definition of Integrity
ü Explain why our clip is demonstrating integrity
How will we know our movie is successful?
ü    up to 30 seconds long
ü   clear camera work (thinking about the sun, keeping the camera still-moving slowly, in focus)
ü    clear voices (volume, wind, background noises, mumbling)
ü clear message - might need to explain the images (text to match the words)

this is my integrity movie i did with the sam people i did with my kinetic and potential energy and i hope you like it

How do you feel about your integrity movie? prod of myself and my group
What parts of it do you particularly like and why? when me and harriet went to get sams stuff he left because we were showing integrity
What did/do you enjoy about this your integrity movie?
You and your group used your time wisely. You had a plan and used it to create a fabulous movie with a clear message. You display integrity in your learning, trying your best and doing the right thing even when nobody is watching.
Remember to complete you reflection. The questions are there as prompts to help you think about your learning...what have you learned about integrity? how are you going to use your learning?

kinetic and potential energy

WALT: create an i-movie to demonstrate kinetic and potential energy

How will we know our movie is successful?
ü   clear camera work (thinking about the sun, keeping the camera still-moving slowly, in focus)
ü   clear voices and image (volume, wind, background noises, mumbling)
ü clear message - might need to explain the images (text to match the words, is the science correct?)

Reflective Prompts:
I now know that: kinetic is the power to move and potential is when you are geting ready to move
I enjoyed: working with a grop because they had lots of ides and i did not have lots like them
The most difficult was: geting a ides
Working with my group was: good because they helped me

I am pleased that working in a group helped you to get lots of ideas. It is awesome when groups share and develop their ideas.
You have used a ball to model kinetic and potential energy. Remember, the ball has potential (stored) energy when it is at the top of the slide because you have done work to put it there. It has kinetic energy when it is rolling (moving) down the slide.

how to tell the time

WALT: share our learning about telling the time.

Success Criteria:
  • text and some images
  • check we have the correct time
  • clear message (explanation)
Blue Hat
that there is a past and a to time side

Black Hat
showing how I did it like getting the time

Green Hat
get it in a different way

You have used your time telling skills to create a poster with a clear explanation about how time telling works. Your times are correct and this poster would be fabulous to share with children learning to tell the time.
Remember, 15 minutes past or to is the same as 1/4 past or to. The big hand (minute hand) is 1/4 of the way around the clock.
